So when Jessica tells me that she had booked a 2nd birthday party, i was excited. Then she tells me that it is at Wood Kingdom in Farmingdale, NY. My son's 2nd birthday was there in June of 2010, and from what i remembered, it was a photographer's worst nightmare. There is no natural light whatsoever, the ceilings are over 20 feet high, and the children are hidden up on swing sets or bouncing somewhere in a big maze. It also brought back the memory of losing all of my sons b-day pictures from that day because of a hard drive failure! uugh, lesson learned. In the parking lot we are greeted with Dara's dad opening the rear of his SUV and suddenly half of the balloons are floating through the sky! Man, we are in for it today!
We put the bad karma and the balloon escaping fiasco behind us the moment we met Justin, Dara and Zachary, the cutest and most personable little birthday boy ever. The 3 of them are just sooo photogenic! (can't wait to get them into the studio for more pics)
